Samuel Shadap was born on 26th November 1992 in Shillong, Meghalaya. He is a footballer, who plays for Punjab FC and on loan from Kerala Blasters. Samuel plays as a right back. Samuel started his career by playing with the trainees at the Shillong Lajong FC academy. He joined the academy in 2006 and played there until 2011. After a successful run as an academy product, Samuel signed his pro contract with the club in 2012.
In 2012, Samuel made his debut on 6th October against Mohun Bagan, a match which Shillong Lajong won 2-0. After a 5 year period of playing for Shillong Lajong, Samuel was selected in the players draft of the newly organized ISL. Samuel was drafted for Kerala Blasters. He made his debut in 2017 for Kerala Blasters when he came on as a substitute in a season match.
After a frequent period of bad performances, Samuel was sent to the B squad of Kerala Blasters to play in the I-League second division. In 2019, Samuel decided to go on loan to Punjab FC to get more game time and hopefully revive his career so he can start games in the ISL.
