Stephen Gomes

Stephen Gomes is a famous sound mixer, sound editor, and sound designer who works primarily in the Hindi film industry. He completed his education at St. Stanislaus High School in Mumbai. He started his career as an audio-visual programmer at Son-E-Lummier in 1986. He worked there for around five years and then moved on to work with Purple Haze Studio as a sound engineer. He worked there for three years, from 1996 to 2000, and then shifted to work with Sync Sound. He worked there as a sound designer and sound editor for around five years. During his tenure there, he worked on various Bollywood movies such as Swades, Armaan, Bas Yun Hui, and many others.

He joined Dharma Productions in 2011 as a sound designer and worked on Bollywood films. After a year, he shifted to Ashutosh Gowariker Production Pvt. Ltd. as a sound designer. He worked there for around a decade and worked on multiple movies and TV series. Then he joined Kabir Khan Films Pvt. Ltd. as a sound designer and sound mixer, supervising a sound editor. Then he started his own audio company, known as Sonic Fields. He is working there and has worked on multiple movies till now.
