Shantanu Akerkar works as a sound designer and mixing engineer. He works as a freelancer. He lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Shantanu knows many languages such as Hindi, Marathi, English and Gujarati. Shantanu is a very talented person. He is highly skilled in sound music, sound design, sound editing, audio editing, dialogue editing and film producing. He completed his schooling from Children’s Academy. Then completed his H.S.C in Physics from Gokhale College. He studied Sound recording and reproduction from University of Mumbai. Shantanu was a Sound editor and foley recordist at Studio Sound Kraft for three years. Then he worked as an Assistant Mixing Engineer and Sound Designer at Fiesta Entertainment for five years. He worked as a Sound Engineer at Dee Super Sound for eleven years. Shantanu has been now working as a freelancer for more than fifteen years.
