Manav Vij is an Indian actor and singer. He was born on 2nd January 1977 in Ferozpur Punjab. He is also a psychiatrist. He got a degree in Psychology from Ludhiana University. He has a unique dream to play the role of Adolf Hitler. So to fulfill it he entered the Entertainment Industry. The main idols of Manav are Bhagat Singh, Gurdas Ji Mann and his father Mr. S. K. Vij.

Manav appeared in family drama shows like ‘’, ‘’ and ‘Kis Desh Mai Hai Mera Dil’. His inocent and lovable character Joydeep in ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ is appreciated by the audience. Joydeep is the adopted son of Saahil in the show. In the serial ‘Kis Desh Mai Hai Mera Dil’he played the role of Kiran Gupta, one of the important character in show. In ‘Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke’ he played the role of Raghav, brother of the nain character Bela which was done by the actress . The show was telecast on Star Plus.

Manav also appeared in Punjabi films like ‘’, ‘Mini Punjab’, ‘Asan Nu Man Vatna Da’and ‘Apni Boli Apna Desh’. In all these films his costar was famous Bollywood and Punjabi actor cum singer Jimmy Shergil. For a punjabi music album ‘Mail’, he sings two songs which touch the hearts of the viewers. On 5th July 2009, he married to the beautiful TV actress Vaishali Sachdeva. Vashali played the role of Heer sister in ‘Kis Desh Mai Hai Mera Dil’. The character Heer is done by Aditi Gupta.
