Bhoomi Trivedi

Bhoomi Trivedi is a female playback singer in Gujarati and Hindi movies. She was a participant in a reality show, ‘Indian Idol 3’. Bhoomi hails from Gujarat. She gave audition for ‘Indian Idol 3’ but left the show in the middle on account of her illness. She was suffering from jaundice and had no other option but to quit the show. Next year, she again had auditioned for’ Indian Idol 4’ and this time also she could not take part in the full telecast as her aunt had passed away when she was in the show.  However, she attempted again to participate next year in the ‘Indian Idol 5’ and ended the competition as a runner-up. In this show, she had sung ‘Wannabe’, a pop song by the Spice Girls.  Having made her voice popular in the reality show, she got a break to sing a solo song titled’ Bahne Dey’ in the film ‘Prem Mayee’ which released in 2012. Bhoomi’s melodious voice was very much like a breath of fresh air. The lyrics of the song was written by Siddharth-Garima and music were composed by none other than Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself.  It is said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali had spent a Rs 6 crore for Priyanka Chopra’s  item number ‘’Ram Chahe Leela’’ in the film. The song ‘Ram Chahe Leela’ fetched Bhumika several awards like  Mirchi Music Awards, STAR Guild Awards, and  Big Star Entertainment Awards, etc. In 2015, she also had sung a title song for a Marathi film ‘"Carry On Maratha’. In the film ‘Hero’, she had sung the song "Dance Ke Legend" for music composer Meet Bros Anjjan.
