Amar Nath Jha is an Indian author and scriptwriter who works predominantly in the Hindi film industry.
Born in Jhanjharpur, Madhubani district, Bihar, he completed his education in Bihar and graduated in B.A. Hindi Language and Literature from Delhi University. He got inspiration from theatre legends Habib Tanvir Habib Tanvir was an acclaimed poet, actor, theatre >> Read More... and Usha Ganguly.Â
He started his career in the Bollywood industry as a Creative Director in UTV Hindi/ Urdu from 2002 to 2003. He then worked as the Post Production charge for the UTV programs such as ' Shakalaka Boom Boom Shakalaka Boom Boom is the Tamil dubbed version of >> Read More... ' and 'Shararat' (2003). He became the Executive Producer at Span Communications, New Delhi, in 2004. He also worked as a project consultant in an NGO in Bihar in 2004.Â
He was the Executive Editor of a Hindi literary magazine 'Drishtikon' published under the Government of Bihar in 2008. He shifted to Bombay to find easy accessibility to work in television sets and production houses. He then worked as a scriptwriter for Mukta Arts, Mumbai (2019). He is famous for his crime-based story writing for Hindi serials.Â
Amarnath also authored the book 'deCODE Red: The Inside Story of Naxalites.' Based on the November 2005 Jehanabad Jailbreak, the crime thriller provides a complete experience of the Naxalite movements in Bihar.
