Apart from these, he also writes for magazines, newspapers, websites and has also written a book "Film Ki Kahani Kaise Likhe" under Rajkamal Prakashan publishing house.

He was born on 7 November 1968 in Surendranagar, Gujrat. Before landing into the writer's world, he worked as a sailor in Indian Navy. He took his basic training at INS Chilika. Soon he came in the film industry to try his hand at script writing. He even left his engineering so that he could give all his attention to the film industry. He used to watch South Indian movies too. Later he decided to make a move in film writing. He got married to Sindhu Nair in 1993 and had two children named Anuj and Aahaan. His work in movies is as follows.

He wrote a Bollywood comedy film starring Himesh Reshammiya, Niharika Singh, and Rakesh Bapat named A New Love Ishtory(2013). Besides movies, he wrote a documentary based on the implementation of the Srikrishna Commission named Audi Alteram Partam (which means listen to the other side). His most notable movie is Akshay Kumar and Ileana D'Cruz starring Rustom (2016). This movie is a mystery crime thriller inspired by the life of naval officer K. M. Nanavati and his wife's lover Prem Ahuja.

The story writing, direction, and performance of each artist is commendable. Also, Akshay Kumar won the National Film Award for Best Actor at the 64th National Film Awards (2017). He also wrote a short film Mumbai Varanasi Express (2016). Apart from movies, he wrote a TV show named Vicky Ki Taxi(2009).His upcoming movie is about a boy(Ahaan) who has down's syndrome and who is made to live up with his uncle.
