Javed Siddiqui is a well-known and renowned Indian screenplay writer, dialogue writer, and play writer. Javed is known for his predominant contributions in the Hindi and Urdu dialects. Javed is one of the most respected writers in the industry. Siddiqui was born on the 13th of January in the year 1942. Born in a family of freedom fighters, Javed feels extremely blessed. Javed has done his schooling from the Hamid High School. He did his graduation from Rampur. Javed specialized in Urdu literature. After that, he moved to Mumbai in the year 1959. Javed has also worked for the Urdu dailies like Inquilaab and Khilafat Daily. Siddiqui has also led as the owner of a newspaper named Urdu Reporter. In 1977, Javed stepped into the industry as a dialogue industry with Satyajeet Ray’s movie Shatranj Ke Khiladi.
He contributed to Urdu literature by writing the book called Roshandan. Siddiqui has also worked in the theatres. The play named Tumhari, Amrita written by him, got a massive response from the audience. Siddiqui has written scripts and dialogue for the films like Shatranj KeKhilari in 1977, Do Dilon Ki Dastaan in 1985, Baaghi A Rebel for Love in 1990, Dahek A Burning Passion in 1998, Tera Jadoo Chal Gayaa in 2000, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke in 2001, and more. Javed is also known for the plays like Patjhad Se Zara Pehle, Maati Kahe Kumhar Se, AapkiSoniya, and many more. Javed has also won many titles and awards. In 1994, he won Filmfare Award for the film Baazigar. He also won Filmfare Award in 1996 for the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge, and many.
