Seema Mohapatra

Seema Mohapatra is an Indian Film Producer in the Bollywood Film Industry. She studied commerce in Utkal University in 1991 and later pursued MBA from XIM, Bhubaneshwar in 1993. Her career began when she started working at the Indian Hotels Company Ltd. Under The Taj Group of Hotels as a Management Trainee and Sales Executive in Kolkata, India. While working she was given the tasks for managing corporate client portfolios, to conduct market research, to design customer-oriented schemes, and to collaborate with advertising agencies for the promotion of Taj Bengal. She is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra and is the co-founder of the production companies called Ten Years Younger Productions LLP since 2019 and Story Loft Productions since 2016.

She has more than 25 years of experience in the Media and Entertainment Industry and works heading the South Asian Operation of BBC Advertising for BBC Worldwide. She was a member of the Board of Directors of BBC Worldwide India Private Limited and trustee of the BBC World Service Trust in India. From 2007 to 2011, she was of the Regional Director for South Asia. She was skillful in driving strategic and goals related to revenue for BBC Worldwide in the South Asian market. She took responsibilities for spanning advertising business across various platforms like TV, mobile offerings online. As a result, she gained strong relationships with the Indian advertising industry. During her professional journey she also gained experiences as Regional Manager for West & South India, Sales Executive at Star TV, and Sales Manager at STAR TV.

After acquiring these positions, she could contribute to the growth and success of STAR Network channels while managing advertising sales, and also expanded her industrial knowledge.
