Apart from the television industry, Sanyogeeta Bhave has been attached to the Marathi theatre and is a part of the changing face of Marathi play which “are getting out of the family drama mould and handling bolder subjects”. Her recent play, Lagna which deals with extramarital relationships did many successful shows. Sanyogeeta adds that not only the audience’s mindset has widened but people do watch such shows along with families. She has been a part of the plays, portraying such innovative and experimental subjects like live in relationships, prostitutes, eunuchs and AIDS to name a few.
