Born on January 30, 1953, in Kapurthala, Punjab, Mangal Singh is an Indian playback singer in Bollywood and UK. At five years old, he sang at his nearby gurdwara and Jalandhar radio. He was the lead artist in the UK based band Chirag Pehchan, outstanding amongst other ever groups to rise out of the UK. Chirag Pehchan and recorded various Punjabi collections which were super hit.
Mangal's albums included Dekho, Nach Pae Sur, Chillimaal and Rail Gaddi. He debuted in Indian film industry with the movie Bahar Aane Tak in 1990 with the help of
, the music director for with the super hit tune Kali Teri Choti.
The same year, he sang the song Jhoome Hawaayen Aur Jhoome Fizayen with vocalists AnupamaDeshpandeandSudeshBhoslein the film Sailaab by Deepak BalrajVij. In 1991, Mangal worked with Nitin Mukesh,Anuradha Paudwal and
