Born in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, Kutle Khan is a playback vocalist, who has worked mostly in Tamil cinema. He comes from the Manganiyarfamily of musicians. He is master of instrument Khartal. At 8 years old, he started playing as many acoustics as he can.

Shail Hada, the famous voice behind the soulful renditions such as ‘Saawariya’, ‘Lahu Muh Lag Gaya’, ‘Tung Lak’ and numerous others is a small town boy who was born on April 11, 1975, in the ‘Rajasthani’ town of ‘Kota’. Shail, as well as his family, were serious about a career in music is a fact evident from the way his education progressed. His initial schooling happened at Kota itself at the St. Paul School, Mala Road which was followed by his B.A. and M.A. in Music from the ‘University of Kota’. Followed by this he did his ‘Sangeet Visharad’ from’ Gandharva Mahavidyalaya’ under the guidance of his Guru ‘Pt. Aaskaran Sharma’. Post his ‘Visharad’, he shifted to Mumbai and joined the Music Department at Mumbai University. During his tenure there, he won six gold decorations at different national rivalries.
