Nikhil Nanda

Nikhil Nanda is an Indian Industrialist and a businessman. He is the Managing Director of the engineering company Escorts Limited that manufactures material handling equipment, agricultural machinery, and railway equipment. Nikhil was born on 18th March 1974, New Delhi, India. In 2001, Nikhil Nanda was selected among the five Indians as Global Leaders of Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum. He was born in the Kapoor family in the capital.

Belonging to a family with businesspersons, he had to carry forward the legacy of the family. The Company Escorts Limited founded by Nikhil’s grandfather, Har Prashad Nanda in 1948 has its headquarters in Faridabad, Haryana. In the year 1997, he got selected as a member of the Board of Directors in Escorts. He served with the Board of Directors for almost a decade.

In 2007, he got appointed as the Joint Managing Director of Escorts Limited. Nikhil Nanda is improving the company started by his grandfather until today and he is very efficient in doing so. Escorts Group has expanded its operation in more than 40 countries worldwide, and it is planning to grow its agriculture business.
