Nakash Aziz and Sargam are two of the famous music artists. Together the duo is known as Nakash Sargam. Destiny united them in the year 2007. Both the composers hail from musical families. Sargam’s father is a famous devotional poet whose pen name is Saral Kavi, and Nakash’s father was a stage artist and a singer in the state of Mangalore. Sangram was initially a sound engineer and worked under Satish Gupta. After this, he joined hands with Amar Mohile, a music composer as an assistant for the movies Sarkar Raj and SarkarNakash started his career at a very young age of thirteen years. He started off by participating in singing reality shows like Awaaz Ki Duniya, Indian Idol, and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Nakash and Sargam share a strong bond. They write lyrics for their songs and also manage their own programs. Their current work includes composing music for a Marathi movie.

Nakash Aziz, is an Indian playback singer and music composer in Bollywood industry. He was born on 24 February, 1985. Basically Nakash Aziz comes from a petit town Moodbidri, near Mangalore, Karnataka. He is well known for his hit songs like “Sari Ke Fall Sa” and “Gandi Baat”, both songs came from the movie ‘R… Rajkumar’ (2013) and another song ‘Dhating Nach’ from a film ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ (2013). All these songs are picturised on ‘Shahid Kapoor’. Nakash has also assisted a very famous and “The Living Legend Composer and singer” Mr. A. R. They were famous for voice-alike of very famous singers ‘Kishor Kumar’ and ‘Mukesh’ in hometown Mangalore. During his initial days in Mumbai, Aziz got a small-time job in a reality show where A.R. Rehman was one of the judges. And now in 2015 he is performing in ‘IIFA awards’ with a new singer in the block, ‘Sonakshi Sinha’ and ‘Mika Singh’. Aziz says, “I want to be anything that music allows me to be, even if it comes up with a small musical idea like introducing a slight variation in my singing for Amit Trivedi’s Aisha title song”.


Penaz Masani

Penaz Masani is best known as the Indian Ghazal Singer. She has released more than 20 albums and has been honoured with one of the most prestigious award in India, “Padmashree” in the year 2009. She has also won the title “Shehzadi Tarunnam” by UP GOVT in the year 1996. In her long career, she has won many awards for her singing. She is known to put spellbound on people in her concert. She is also known to be very good in Urdu. She has sung songs over dozen of languages, which makes her a true prodigy and makes her deserving of all those awards that are bestowed upon her. Penaz was born into a family of classical musicians. Her father was a disciple of Ustad Faiyaz Khansahab of the Agra gharana, a classical singer in the court of Sayaji Rao Gaekwad of Baroda in the 1930's, where he performed to an audience of royals and courtiers. Penaz had her first lessons in the same tradition under the guidance of Ustad Amanat Hussein Khan and later became a disciple of India's famed and most revered Ghazal exponent Madhurani. Through all the hardship, she became the melodious classical singer. For the first time, this esteemed singer was noticed by famous composer late Jaidev, after she won the “Sur Singer Samrat” contest in 1978.
