Hindi Music director Sanjoy Chowdhury is the son of famous music composer Salil Chowdhury. Singer Sabitha Chowdhury is his mother, Sanjoy, along with his sister, Antara Chowdhury, has worked in several Malayalam projects. Sanjoy has also scored the background music for some films. He entered into the film industry in 1998; he scored the background score for the Malayalam film Ennu Swantham Janakikutty.

He was associated with the Aamir Khan starrer Sarfarosh in 1999. John Mathew Mathan directed the film. Besides the Bollywood projects Sanjoy has also given background score for a National Geographic Channel episode. Sanjoy was nominated the Star Screen Award for the Hindi movie A Wednesday for his background score. Sameer Phaterpekar is an Indian music director and a composer. The Dada Saheb Phalke Award winner has worked in over fifty movies and delivered some background score. His thirty-five-year long career has been a success with collaborations with musicians like R.D Burman, Rajesh Roshan, Kalyanji Adandji, etc. His compositions include hits like Jhumma-Chumma, Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai, and Hawa Hawaii.
