After her debut movie, she was the top choice of many directors and was even offered many films. Salony believes in experimenting and portraying different characters. In her first movie, she played a character which showcased two different personalities. Her character in the movie demanded her as a smoker and in real life Salony does not indulge in any such habits, but for the movie she came in contact with her friends who were smokers and took up smoking for the movie. For her next project, she had signed up an untitled film of Luthfudeen Baasha, who is the son of Nasser. The shooting was the movie scheduled in Singapore but then after a few days of shoots, Salony moved out of the film, saying that she has second thoughts of the movie as the scenes which were discussed with her were very different and short of what she was informed.
