Shubha Joshi

Shubha Joshi is a famous singer of Hindustani Classical Music. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Master's in Music at the S.N.D.T University, Mumbai, securing first-class honors. She was trained under the guidance of Pt. Pandurang Ambedkar. Also, Shubha received instructions from Pt. Ramesh Nadkarni and Master Navrang. She loved two classical musics during her time in school, and they were Thumri, and Dadra, songs from a famous singer, Smt. Shobha Gurtu began what was known as light classical music. Another instructor, Ustad Taj Ahmed Khan, molded Shubha's voice for Ghazal's singing.

Shubha is a famous Grade A artist of All India Radio, and Doordarshan airs special radio programs like Ghazal Ke Saye, Shyam-e-Ghazal, and Mehfil. She has given several successful performances at prestigious conferences such as Savai Gandharva Sammelan, Pune and Kundgol, and Pt. Paluskar Punya Tithi, Delhi, and also at Ichalkaranji, Amravati, Rajkot, Ujjain, Indore, and several other places.
