The success of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has had a side effect on the release of Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Auron mein Kahan Dum Tha’.
According to recent reports, if Neeraj Pandey and Co. stick to the original plan of releasing the film on 5 July, they are heading for a straight disaster.
But why? It is because if ‘Auron mein Kahan Dum Tha’ releases on 5 July, it will have a distribution issue with ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, since the film is already performing beyond expectations, and is expected to perform well in the second week.
Moreover, it will face a double assault from Sudha Kongara’s “Sarfira” and S Shankar’s “Hindustani 2” on 12 July, which star Akshay Kumar and Kamal Haasan in the lead roles respectively.
This is why the makers of ‘Auron mein Kahan Dum Tha’ are thinking of delaying the release to July end. There are also rumors that the makers are eyeing the release date of 2nd August, which makes it a three way clash with movies like ‘The Sabarmati Report’ and ‘Ulajh’. However, an official confirmation is yet to be made on the same.
‘Auron mein Kahan Dum Tha’ is a romantic thriller which stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Jimmy Shergill in the lead roles respectively. Interestingly, Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee M Manjrekar shall be playing the younger versions of Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the movie respectively.
