Leading Anglo-Indian actress Honey O'Brien was a Bollywood celebrity who appeared in a few Hindi films in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Her artistry is seen in movies like Awaara and Ghayal. Shokian is one movie by Honey O'Brien that grabbed much attention. A 1951 romance drama movie directed by Kidar Nath Sharma based on the Portuguese in 16th century India released on 1st January 1951. Honey O'Brien was also a terrific singer. Ek Thi Ladki, the movie she sang in, was fantastic and a unique comedy for the time. She worked on a few Bollywood films and then she relocated to Geneva, Switzerland, where she gave birth to three daughters.
