She did not act in many Bollywood films as she was dating Telugu star Mahesh Babu when they were shooting for Vamsi(2000). After a couple of years of dating, she finally tied her knot with Mahesh Babu in 2005.. The couple has a boy named Gautam Krishna Gattamaneni who was born in 2006 and a girl child named Sitara born on July 2012.
