Suresh Joachim Arulanantham is a Tamil-Canadian film actor, a producer who has also held multiple Guinness World Records, breaking over 60 world records in different countries all over the world to help underprivileged children. The very first record attempt by Suresh Joachim was running in Colombo for some time each hour for 1000 consecutive hours, (August 19-September 26, 1996; 42 days), totalling up to a distance of 3,495 km. For his second attempt, he travelled 225.44 km, up and down escalators at the Westfield Burwood Shopping Centre, which is in Australia.
On September 6, 2003, his wedding to Christa Rasanayagam on which was held in Ontario had a record of 79 bridesmaids, and 47 best men. On 17th March 2006 he was part of setting up a world record for a couple of dance marathon in which he danced for 31 hours continuously with his partner Tiffany Lesko. His recent record was for basketball dribbling for 24 hours which took place at Toronto's Elmbank Community Centre. He produced and was a part of a Tamil film called Sivappu Mazhai (2009) where he attempted to make a record for shooting a movie in minimum days.
