Sooraj Pancholi is the new chocolate face hero who can do any love story character to win youth’s hearts. He had none other than Salman Khan, to introduce him in his acting career. Salman Khan had spotted him working as an assistant director in his hit film Ek Tha Tiger, and perhaps Sallu Bhai had then been impressed by his cute look and well-built figure and felt Sooraj could be more suitable as reel hero- who knows? Thinking that viewers could easily get bowled over by Sooraj’s six pack and admire the speed of his fists too, Pancholi could not have asked for a better project from Salman. Hero came to be Salman’s earlier film under the banner of Salman Khan Films, but his blockbuster “ Bajrangi Bhaijaan” released before Hero in the theaters. Sooraj was cast opposite newcomer Athiya Shetty (actress) in Hero with an impressive budget, music and even best director. By years of experience in cinema, Salman Khan must have felt that only actions and songs, can elevate this new boy in Bollywood, but the film’s fate is still awaited. Quite impressed by his new project Hero, the actor wants to work now with the established directors of B-town. It is heard that he takes advice from Salman Khan with regards to scripts even. Sooraj Pancholi was earlier in the news for his affair with Jiah Khan (actress of Nishabd and Ghajini), who was elder to him no doubt, but her sudden suicide had put him into many hurdles in the life. It was then he shifted his attention back to cinema and diverted his depressed mind towards camera, light and action and got into the role of an assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who was directing the film Guzaarish. As he watched the cameras capturing Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik’s every moments, Sooraj too got inspired to become an actor. Though, he took training in acting, dancing & fighting etc., and made all his preparations to get launched as an actor, he was not too sure if the roles would be offered to him. It was then, while Ek Tha Tiger was busy in its production, Salman Khan had aired his interest to cast him in his own production film Hero. That is how many finds him the cutest and most handsome of all the Bollywood actors present.
