Dilip Rawal is one of the most popular names in Gujarati  theatre. An actor, a writer, a poet and a lyricist, Dilip Rawal has written and acted in many Gujarati plays. He has also contributed to the Hindi television and film industry through his work. Some of his Gujarati plays are the comic drama ‘Dikri No:1’, ‘Chaukat Rani Char Ghulam’, ‘Sakhna Re To Sasu Nahi’, ‘Kadko Toye Crorepati’, ‘Wah! Tame Pan Great Cho’ and also ‘ Hera Pheri’ which was adapted  into a Bollywood movie starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. He acted in the family dramas ‘Niyati’ and ‘Mummy 20 Ni Dikri 40 Ni’ which are among the most loved Gujarati plays. He has written the devotional musical ‘Saathvaro Radhe Shyamni’, a beautiful depiction of the eternal love story of Lord Krishna and Radha.
