Arunabh Kumar,’a well-known personality who is none other than the founder and CEO of ‘TVF media labs private limited.’ He was born and bought up in Muzaffarpur which lies in the state of Bihar. He studied in Bihar till he reached sixth grade. In one of his interviews,he mentioned that he had to change around 7-8 schools until he finished his schooling from Jaipur Vidyashram. When they asked him the reason behind it, he explained that it was neither because of transfers, nor his father was an army personnel. Rather it was because his father was not satisfied with the schools he had studied in and thus made him change around 8 schools. His student life was not quite fruitful.

He got thrown out of DPS (Delhi Public School) after 20 days of joining. Despite of all these ups and downs and his aversion to studying, he never gave up on them. Finally, after his numerous efforts, he cracked IIT-JEE, got admission in ‘IIT-Kharagpur’ and chose to pursue it in the field of Electrical Engineering. He also stated that the life at IIT was not exciting, as it was quite a calm and a silent place. When he was in 3rd year of his Bachelors, he started to develop an interest in dramatics. Due to his disinterest in studies, he failed in about seven subjects in 1st year and five in the 2nd year. When he reached in his 3rd year, he realized that it was not working for him and decided to find a career that he liked and one that could satisfy him. During the college time, he made a short film named ‘Where is my mind’, based on the spring fest organized in‘IIT’.

The film was basically about students hiding in places, recording themselves working and playing in the fest and then putting voice over. The film, somehow, became viral in the college and also diverted the attention of all the students of from the college towards itself. It was his first achievement in the field of dramatics. After completing his graduation, he got a job as a consultant in US Air Force. He then moved to Mumbai to try his luck and communicated with creative minds of IIT Mumbai. He also shared that when he got in the fifth and sixth semester of his Bachelors, he decided to find a subject that was close to dramatics. Image processing was one of his subjects, and he thought that it could be related to visual effects which he can use in movies.

In 2011, he started to work on ‘Rowdies’, a parody based on the reality show Roadies. By this time, he had already completed 4.5 years in the industry. In 2012, he finally launched his video ‘Rowdies’ which got a lot of appreciation from people. Today, his videos have more than 10 billion of views, and the numbers are increasing day by day. Truly, he is a great inspiration to the youth who wants to achieve something in life.
