Dimpy Ganguly, an Indian model and actress was born in Bengal on 25 July 1985. In 2009, she graduated from one of the notable College named Scottish Church with majors of English literature. By origin, she is Bengali but she resides in Kolkata.

She married to Rahul Pramod Mahajan in 2010. Her husband Rahul is an entertainer of Indian reality show and in past he was a pilot. They were the first couple who got married in a reality TV show named ‘Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega and they made the history by marrying on any such show in the history of India. She got married in political family as her father in law Pramod Mahajan is former union cabinet minister. Later on, they developed clashes and personal rifts on the basis of which they filed for divorce in 2014. Earlier, she has also suffered a miscarriage in 2010.

Dimpy also participated in a beauty contest of India named “Gladrags MegaModel Manhunt” in 2009. In Sananda Tilottama, she got the second position in 2007. She has also been selected as a contestant for the programe Nach Baliye 5. Nach Baliye is a reality show based on dance by participation of celebrity couples and those who make their best performance, win the show.

Her television serials include Zor Ka Jhatka, , Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jaayega and her participation in Nach Baliye 5.
