OP Vyas was a famous lyricist, musician, singer, and poet. He was born on 4 January 1938 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. His father’s name is Amarkunwar, and his mother is Ramchandra Vyas. He got exposure to music because of his father. He completed his studies at Sumer Pushtikar High and later became a teacher. He was a teacher at the Rajasthan Educational Department. While working, he completed his graduation from Rajputana University. He participated in patriotic singing competitions and sang folk songs at state and national-level youth festivals. He was admitted to J.J. School of Arts, Mumbai to complete his higher studies.
In 1972, he also organized a stage show named O.P Vyas. In 1973, he started composing music for films. On June 5, 2015, he died at the age of 77.
