Arfaaz Kagalwala is a popular lyricist and composer from India but is based in Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. He is a metalinguistic individual who can speak multiple languages, including English, French, German, Gujarati, and Hindi. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom) in Accounting and Finance from Vidya Niketan School. Later, he went to Bangalore University for his college education and at college cultural events, he represented the college as a member of the Christ College Band and Christ College Acapella Group. Initially, he started his career as a market researcher executive at Quantum Market Research Pvt. Ltd and conducted qualitative group discussions along with writing proposals, conducting interviews, and performing data analytics.
In 2007, Arfaaz Kagalwala started working with Radio City as a producer, where he was responsible for all on-air station productions. Subsequently, he worked as a senior brand services manager with Lowe Lintas for almost eight months. However, in 2009, Arfaaz Kagalwala started working as an assistant programming head under “Trumpit Entertainment & Creative Services” in Bangalore. Eventually, he joined Fuzzy Logic Music in Marseille Area, France, and began his career as a music producer and composer in 2010.
Arfaaz Kagalwala worked as a vocalist and percussionist for several years in films, TV, radio and advertisements. He has worked in various TV series and movies as a composer, some of them include Portrait en Pied de Suzanne (2019), Not Fit (2016), Sulemani Keeda (2014), and Love Shots (2016) as a composer and musical director. Arfaaz Kagalwala has also worked in the short film Mama's Boy (2016), as a score and song composer, and Sulemani Keeda as a lyricist and playback singer. Apart from that, Arfaaz Kagalwala appeared in the “Atypic' Biopic,” as an actor, where he played the role of Figurant.
