In 1997, after being bored by the traditional Bollywood mixes, they decided to bring something different. They worked hard to set their studio in Delhi and finally succeeded. Since then, they gave themselves the name “MIDIval Punditz”. They gained recognition from their idea of Cyber Mehfil, which was the modern style of artistic gatherings of ancient North India. It included music, dance, poetry, etc. 

In the year 2002, they released their first album MIDIval Punditz, then in 2005, “MIDIval Times” was released, and in the year 2009, “Hello Hello” was launched. The 2002 album came out with a San Francisco-based six degrees record in The United States. Hence, Gaurav and Tapan became the first Indian artists to release an album on the International level.
