Kryll

Rashi Jey, a competent DJ/producer with a good sense of sound, from Chennai, goes under the pseudonym Kryll, meaning Kryller. She was exposed to Carnatic music when she was very young, and she has since trained in a variety of art and music cultures. She began her career in electronic music at the age of 17 under the name Kryll/Kryller for the past seven years. She discovered Psytrance music at the age of 14. She became interested in the genre in 2009 and began DJing as a way of expressing her taste and enthusiasm. She began playing Psytrance music in Goa in 2011 at various underground parties, clubs, and music festivals.

Rashi Jey debuted her project Kryller (Deep, Prog, Tech House Music) at the Times of India's Gods Own Music Festival in 2014, where she was named India's youngest DJ and performed in front of a crowd of 5000+. She was even highlighted in a few articles as one of India's best female DJs. Electrypnose, Atriohm, Gidra, Fungus Funk, Kindzadza, Furious/Crazy Astronaut, mekkanika, Outer signal, and many others have all shared the booth with her in a brief period.

She's also a cast member of " The Remix The Remix is a Digital competition reality show on >> Read More... ," an Amazon Prime International reality program. Her DJ performances can be described as unusual, working abstractly with live sampling techniques in transition to build up diverse degrees of excitement and intensity after playing at various underground/commercial parties/music festivals in India. She intends to provide a blissful experience for the listener. Live artists have a big influence on her, and she's a big fan of electronic music in general.
