This actor has marked his presence in the comic roles since his entry in Bollywood, He worked with the prominent actors of his time & is active yet in Bollywood. After completion of graduation from National School of Drama in 1978, he made his entry in the Filmmaking as an Assistant Director of the movie “ Masoom” that won the Filmfare Award for “ Best Film Critics”, directed by Shekhar Kapoor. Masoom was his first movie as an actor too. He bagged two Filmfare Award in the category of Best Comedian for his role in Ram Lakhan & Saajan Chale Sasural. He tried his hands as Director, Producer, Screen Writer along with acting on the Telly Shops.

After giving two flop movies, Hum Apke Dil Mein Rehte Hai marked his first success in Direction. He started Karol Bagh Productions along with his NSD friend, Anupam Kher & the first movie under this banner was Teree Sang, directed by Satish Kaushik, which reflected the matter of Teen Pregnancy. He also wrote dialogues for a movie Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. Also played some noted roles in Theatres. His few much-remembered performance are in Mr. India as Calendar, as Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana. His journey so far can’t be summed up by not mentioning his few beautiful works in below mentioned Movies: Ram Lakhan: A movie with an ensemble cast that was a hit with the then Star Anil Kapoor & Jackie Shroff. In the female lead were Dimple Kapadia & Dhak Dhak Girl Madhuri Dixit.

This movie bagged six Filmfare Awards. Satish also won one for his role as Kanshiram. Saajan Chale Sasural: Muthu Swami (Satish Kaushik) & Shyamsunder (Govinda), these two characters got a lot of love from the audience & it was a big hit. This venture got two Filmfare Awards. Tere Naam: It was such a big hit of the year that it bagged numerous Award Nominations under various categories. For this Salman Khan was praised a lot & till now role of Radhe is considered as his best performance. Directed by Satish Kaushik. Teree Sang: Directed by Satish Kaushik, this movie got a nice response starring Ruslaan Mumtaz, who also featured in the movie Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar. In the female lead was Sheena Shahabadi.

Born on 24th February 1963, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is an acclaimed Indian multi-faceted personality; he is a producer, director, screenwriter, and music director. He studied at the Film and Television Institution of India. The middle name Leela is from the name of Bhansali’s mother, Leela. During 1999, Bhansali commenced SLB Films, his production house. Bhansali kickstarted his film career by assisting Vidhu and Vinod Chopra. The flicks he worked as an assistant include 1942: A Love Story, Kareeb, and Parinda. The 1996 flick Khamoshi: The Musical was the first directorial venture of Bhansali. This film had Manisha Koirala and Salman in the lead roles. The film showcased Manisha's efforts to reach out to her deaf and dumb parents beautifully. This flick was well received critically and garnered the Filmfare Critics Award during 1997. The 1997 flick Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was a landmark in Bhansali’s career. The film was made on a lavish scale and had Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan, and Ajay Devgan sharing screen space. The film was a commercial success, and Bhansali became a top-notch director. The flick also received several awards.Sanjay also directed the Deepika-Ranvir starrer Ram Leela which received several awards. The 2002 flick Devdas was his next endeavor, and it was also a huge hit. Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit worked in this movie and got awards for their performances.  The year 2005 saw Bhansali directing and producing Black, which is an inspiration of the life of Helen Keller. This flick fetched a mind-blogging 11 awards and was even appreciated globally. His next ventures Saawariya and Guzaarish were flops. Bhansali also endeavored into music talent show X Factor Season 1 as a judge. He worked on a television show, Saraswathi Chandra. Bhansali had produced My Friend Pinto and Rowdy Rathore.

Shaad Ali is an Indian Film Director, who comes under the list of successful and sensational directors of Bollywood. Shaad was born and brought up in the city Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh into a politically active family. His father, Muzaffar Ali, is a popular filmmaker while his mother Subhashini Ali is an Indian politician and a fairly active member of the Communist Party of India, which is Marxist. His grandfather Lakshmi Sehgal was the commander of the Azad Hind Fauj, which was formed by the valiant Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose during the Indian Freedom struggle. He has completed his studies at the Welham Boys School and the Lawrence School in Shimla. He also completed his graduation from Shimla University. Coming from a family background of films, Shaad was always drawn towards the idea of making movies of his own. After learning the intricacies of direction; Shaad went on to do his directorial debut from the movie ‘Saathiya’ in the year 2002 under the Yash Raj Films banner. The movie starring Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukherji was an enormous success at the box office, and Shaad’s direction was much appreciated. His next project was the movie ‘Bunty Aur Bubbly’ starring Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherji along with Amitabh Bachchan. This movie too broke many records and became a super hit. This put Shaad Ali in the leading director’s list. The next movie that he directed was ‘Jhoom barabar Jhoom’ in the year 2007. This movie too had leading actors namely, Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Bobby Deol and Lara Dutta. In this movie too he proved his exceptional direction skills. After a ling break of about seven years, Shaad directed another film, ‘Kill Dil’ in the year 2014. Though Shaad has been nominated for a couple of awards for his direction so far, he has not received any awards. Shaad is married to stylist Aarti Patkar. Before his marriage with Aarti was married to Shahzneen Hussain whom he divorced.
