Also, Sagar Sarhadi was awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award at ICA- International Cultural Artifact Film Festival by Ashghar Wajahat in 2019. As a short story writer, his best seller book is “Jeev Janaawar.” His famous Urdu plays include Khyaal Ki Dastak, Raj Durbar, Bhagat Singh Ki Waapsi, and Tanhai were acclaimed by critics. Veteran writer-director Sagar Sarhadi died on Monday, March 22, 2021 at his residence in Mumbai, India.
