Later, he established his own company 'Big Picture Company' in 1994, and after having an experience of 19 years in the space of commercial advertisements, he eventually made his luck as a writer-producer-director of an independent film 'Fireflies.’ This film released in 2014.

Many Bollywood filmmakers are now from the advertising space. They include Balki and Shoojit Sircar, to name a few.
