Arjun Mathur is an Indian actor and was born on 18th October, 1981, in London. He was brought up in Delhi, as his family shifted to India. Arjun Malhotra's father is an hotelier. Arjun completed his schooling from the British School, New Delhi. For higher studies he went to UK in Oaklands College, St Albans, and Hertfordshire and for acting training, he went to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and also to Barry John’s institute. He played the lead role in "Bring on the Night", a T.V series aired in MTV channel and also appeared in the Paranormal show "Fearfiles" that is aired in Zee TV.
His career in Bollywood, like most of the stars, started with the post of an assistant director. He assisted in the Bollywood romantic movie “Kyun! Ho Gaya Na..." and the patriotic Bollywood films " Mangal Pandey: The Rising" and "Rang De Basanti". He played a small role in Kyun! Ho Gaya Na... And later appeared in the Bollywood movie "Luck by chance", in which he played a role of a struggling actor that gave him positive reviews from critics. Arjun stated that the movie is the story of his life. it shows how he struggled with small roles to get a fame in Bollywood. He has also done a controversial scene of gay sex in the Bollywood movie "I am". Arjun married to beautiful lady, Simrit Mathur in September 2010. He has done a great job in the Hindi thriller "Ankur Arora murder case”. With the enthusiasm and responsibility, Arjun Mathur seems to be reaching the top soon.
