Harnam Singh Rawail was a Hindi Film Director. He was born on August 21, 1921, in Lyallpur, Punjab Province, British India, and later shifted in Mumbai to be a filmmaker. He was popularly known as H. He released three movies in a row, which were commercial failures, namely Shukriya in 1944, Zid in 1945, and Jhoothi Kasmein in 1948. Later, he directed a film named Patanga in 1949, the 7th highest-grossing Bollywood movie of the year. This film had a famous song called Mere Piya Gaye Rangoon, which is still an epic song, and people remember this movie for this song.
