Sunny Deol Hopes To Satisfy Audiences With Border 2

Sunny Deol is nervous for his next release i.e. Border 2.

The action star revealed his thoughts about the upcoming war drama in a recent interview. According to Sunny, he is experiencing the same feeling as he did with Gadar 2, and he just hopes to satisfy the audiences with his next movie.

After experiencing  more than a decade of failures at the box office, Sunny Deol had finally made a strong comeback to the box office with Gadar 2, which succeeded at the box office despite clashing with the likes of Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 and Rajinikanth’s Jailer! He recently starred in the action drama Jaat, which despite mixed reviews, turned out as a semi hit at the box office.

Border 2 is the spiritual sequel to the classic 1997 war drama, which was based on the Battle of Longewala that was fought during the 1971 Indo Pak War. Directed by Anurag Singh of Kesari fame, the new movie stars Sunny Deol alongside an ensemble cast of Mona Singh, Varun Dhawan, Medha Rana, Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa, Ahan Shetty etc. The movie will now release a day earlier, i.e. 22 January, instead of the original release date of 23 January next year.
