Satish Manwar is an Indian writer and director. He celebrates his birthday on 30 th September each year. Satish belonged to the rural areas of Maharashtra but later moved to Pune for further education. He took a course in Drama at Pune University’s Center of Performing Arts or Lalit Kala Kendra. Satish and his fellow alumni of Pune University also run a theatre group known as Lalit Mumbai. Satish completed his Master’s in the year 1998 and started working as an assistant director and writer. After that, he has been directing movies in the Marathi Language.
Two of his noteworthy movies are Gabricha Paus (2009) and Tuhya Dharma Koncha (2013). Gabricha Paus has won two awards and one nominee in the Vesoul Asian Film Festival in Grand Prize of The International Jury, INALCO Jury Awards, and Golden Wheel, respectively. Tuhya Dharma Koncha had also won a National Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues in 2014. Satish is married to
