Prachi shot to fame with her role in as Taani. She played the character of young Taani against the male lead, young Anurag played by . The story revolved around elements of eternal love between two souls and the sacrifices made by two lovers in phases of separation and meeting. To some extent this gave strength to Prachi’s personal belief in Life after Death. The show faced fierce competition from the serial Uttaran being broadcast on another channel at the same time. She received the Indian Telly Award for Best Child Artist Female for her depiction of Taani in Tere Liye.

Prachi appeared on show telecast on Imagine TV. This serial comes as a breath of fresh air to all screen stars that are on their toes with their shooting schedules. They have a blast singing, dancing, playing and acting with the show’s host Maddy aka Madhavan. Prachi is all set to bag a role in an upcoming new show on Colors tentatively titled Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas opposite Sameer Soni in the male lead.
