Asha Dayama is a famous author. He has written dialogues for many Hindi films. Apart from this, she is the former head of the Hindi Department of St.Xavier's College (Autonomous), Mumbai. Asha has also been a former Vice Principal and Recognized PG teacher and Ph.D guide at the University of Mumbai. She presented her papers in many national and international seminars. Apart from this, she has also published articles and papers for many books and magazines. She also hosted many classical music and dance shows as an anchor. Asha has also written dialogues for Hindi films and serials.
She also published many books written by her, the names of which are Sach To Yeh Hai, Aathve Dashak Ke Pramukh Upanyaason ka Kathy Vishleshan, and Shashi Bharti Text Book. She has also been honored with Maharashtra Hindi Sahitya Academy Puraskar. She worked as a dialogue writer and co-dialogue writer in the films Gandhi My Father and Chakachak. Apart from this, she also did script writing for TV shows like Amrita, Maanasi, etc. She also hosted National Doordarshan's shows Hello DD and Akhil Bhartiya Shastriya Sangeet Hasau.
