Zainab Jameel

Born on the 13th of March 1989, Zainab Jamil is a Pakistani model, a TV host, an actress, and an anchor. Born and brought up in the city of Lahore, she graduated from the Punjab College and went on to do MBA. In an interview to a Pakistan daily, she said that she was not a good student in college and somehow managed to receive an offer for a job by one of the teacher’s in her college. She accepted her offer and joined a news channel as a news reader.

She recalls the famous incident of her getting fired because she laughed during a live telecast. She began her career in 2009 and was a part of Waqt. She had also hosted a few TV shows on Plus TV. Her shot to fame has been the show Khabarnayak on Geo TV. She shifted to modeling and acting from news reading because she was confident that she can make a better career in the showbiz. Before entering the modeling industry, she did a casual photo shoot and received a tremendous response, which made her more confident about her plans. She is multi-talented and has made her presence felt.

She is successful in every sphere of life. She acted in many TV serials including Rabba and Sasural Meri Behn Ka. She was also the part of the famous drama series Mil Key Bhi Hum Naa Mile on Geo TV. Zainab also acted in a feature film called Jawani Phir Nahi Aani. She also features in the catalog of Alishan Crinkle Lawn. Zainab is a confident,beautiful and a lively girl. She credits her success to God and is a firm believer that God has a plan for everyone. She prefers to act but feels that modeling earns her more money. Despite entering films, she is still working with Geo TV and is full of praises for the channel.
