He went completed his elementary, middle, and high school in Odisha. And then, he went to the Indian Institute of Management, Delhi to do his MBA.

Both of his parents are doctors, and he married former actress Mamta Mishra and has a daughter and a son. In 1988, Siddhanta started his career with several regional albums, serials, and movies like Sambalpuri, Odia, Santali, etc. In the 1990s, he started getting lead roles in Tamil and Telugu films. He is known for experimenting with his film scripts where the film has high-quality Vfx with the low budget trend in Odisha.
