Rohit Kalia

Rohit Kalia is an actor who has worked in Bollywood, Tollywood, Telugu, and foreign film industry. Rohit was born in Pune and then migrated to Ludhiana, where he completed his schooling. He then went on to complete his graduation in engineering and worked as a software engineer for Infosys.

But, his passion for modelling, and acting was deep inside of him and he eventually wanted to follow his heart. He joined Anupam Kher’s acting prepare school and completed his course in 2010. Rohit then went on to star in many theatre plays and skits.

Rohit won his first acting award at the prestigious Acting School of Performing Arts in Sydney. In 2014, Rohit became Mr. India Australia due to his amazing looks and physique. Rohit made his acting debut in 2013, where he starred in the lead role of the Telugu film NRI- Now Return to India.

Same year he made a cameo appearance in Irandam Ulagam, where he can be seen as Anushka Shetty’s fiancé.

In 2015, Rohit appeared in his first Australian film Love and Love Only. The movie is directed by Indian-Australian director Julian Karikalan. Australian actress Georgia Nicholas played the leading lady in the film.

The movie is about how a boy of Indian descent living in Australia falls in love with an Australian girl. The movie follows the trials and tribulations they face. The movie got an online release on YouTube and Vimeo. Apart from his movie career, Rohit has also appeared in TV serials both in and outside India.

He appeared in Current Affair and Legally Brown in Australia and Kalash-A Trust in on Life Ok channel in India. Rohit has accumulated a vast experience in acting in terms of all the different languages and locations he has performed in.
