He is an Indian film actor. He was born on September 29, 1970. Ravi Sah’s place of birth is Purnia, Bihar. He finished his school education at the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Purnia. After that, Ravi Sah took a Bachelor's degree in journalism at Makhan Lal Chaturvedi Journalism Institute in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. After completing a bachelor's in journalism, Ravi Sah took up a media job. Thereafter, he joined theatre in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.  Later, he went to the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, to fine-tune his skills. 

Ravi Sah began his acting career as a theatre artist. In 2018, he played the role of Rajendra in the Hindi-language romantic crime film "Phamous,” directed by Raj Butani. He portrayed the role of Schoolteacher's father in the movie "Life of an Outcast." In 2019, he played the role of Sub Inspector in the Hindi-language film “Nakkash,” written & directed by Zaigham Imam.

In 2020, Ravi Sah played the hateful character of a serial killer Keval (Truck Driver) in the Hindi thriller drama film “Raat Akeli Hai,” directed by Honey Trehan.
