Sartaj Singh Pannu is an Indian director and film-maker. He has won multiple National Film Awards. Sartaj was born and brought up in Punjab. He got his degree from St. George’s College, Mussoorie.

Sartaj made his directorial as well as acting debut in the film Soch Lo, a 2010 Hindi mystery film which was developed under the banner of Sun Entertainment. He was seen playing the lead role. He is most famous for his work on the biopic based on Guru Nanak, which is called Nanak Shah Fakir. Although the film ran through many controversies, it became an award-winning film. His other works include Punjabi film Tiger and Hindi film Om.
