Sofia Pisman

Sofia  Pisman is the leading actress of the Kyiv Academic Drama Theater in Podol. In 1982, she graduated from the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts. She has worked in theater since 1997. She also has worked as a presenter at TRK Kyiv and TRK Zagrava, apart from that she has won many accolades such as Laureate of the Kyiv Pectoral 2010 for the role of Korobochka in the play Dead Souls by M. Bulgakov. Sofia has also won the Ambrose Buchma theatrical award for the role of Korobochka in the play Dead Souls by M. Bulgakov (2010).

To date she has worked in  Trap, The Boundary of Investigator Saveliev, Shuler, Happy Ticket, The Millionaire, Love With Arms, Jamaica, Champions from the Gateway, Dark Waters, Matchmakers 5, The Island of Unnecessary People, Once Upon a Time in the New Year, Hello Mama, Route of Mercy, Dark Waters, Two Sides of One Anna, Shark, The genius of the empty place, Death to Spies! 2, Native People, A Second To…, Return of Mukhtar 2,3,4, Sisters by Blood, Lady Mayor, Under the Roofs of the Big City, The Right to Defense, Take Your Overcoat. Apart from all those, she has also performed in many plays, such as Uncle Vanya Levushka, Dead Souls, Vera Petrovna, and Apprehension Of Myna Mazailo.
