Eva Katerina Poppink was born on July 30, 1977, in Netherlands. She is a singer, actress, and illustrator. She did her graduation from the Amsterdam Academy of Kleinkunst, and graduated in 1999. Carice van Houten, and Poppink were awarded the Pisuisse Prize in 1999. While studying at the Academy of Kleinkunst in Amsterdam, which is given to a student for the best theatre performance and has been named after Jean-Louis Pisuisse.
During her internship year, she portrayed Pink in Ruut Weissman's production of Annie MG Schmidt and Harry Bannink's musical "Delicious Lasts the Longest." In 1999 to 2000, she starred as Serena Katz in Joop van den Ende Theater Productions' version of the musical "Fame." Then came prominent roles in musicals like "Miffy on Holiday," "Miffy, the musical," "Miffy is back!", and "Miffy, the concert," with a total of 919 performances in front of half a million people. She starred in the musical comedy "Joop ter Heul" in 2006 as Kit and Hillegonda. She had also appeared in 2009's "Bedgeheimen" and 2010's "Toon." She is also a member of "De gals Loos," a Dutch music theatre troupe. Poppink was nominated for a "John Kraaijkamp Musical Award" in the category of Best Female Leading Role in a Small Musical twice for her roles in "Miffy is there" and "Miffy on Vacation".
Some of the TV series and children’s films where Poppink had portrayed several roles are “Piette Bell 2: The Hunt for the Tsar's Crown (2003)”, “Wrongly Connected (2000-2002)”, “Spangen (2001)”, “Children No Objection (2009)”, etc. She also worked as a voice artist for various films and series such as “I'm in the Band (2013)”, “Cars (2013)”, “Happy Feet (2013)”, etc. From 2003 until 2007, she had worked as an illustrator on audiobooks about 'Kareltje the hamster' and 'Sjonnie the giraffe,' among others, alongside Job Schuring. Poppink was married in 2014 and blessed with two children.
