Ashrunu Maitra is an Indian Writer best known for his work in the Indian television industry. He is also an Editor. He was born in Kolkata, India. He predominantly worked in the Bengali cinema industry. Ashrunu Maitra is a renowned writer known for his exceptional literary works. From a young age, he displayed a passion for storytelling and a deep appreciation for the written word. He studied at Bhairab Ganguly College, Belghoria, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. In 2011, Ashrunu Maitra got hitched to Manjima Bhattacharyya Maitra in Kolkata. Maitra’s writing journey began during his school years when he immersed himself in books and literature. During this time, he discovered his love of writing and pursued it as a career.
He mainly writes stories and dialogue for TV Series. His work as a writer, he wrote a TV Series, ‘Bhanumotir Khel,' a Drama series of 412 episodes in which he wrote 410 episodes. He also wrote 'Bhutu,' a TV series about a jolly little ghost with 513 episodes, from 2016-2018. Some other serials are 'Saraswatir Prem' (173 Episodes) and 'Bhootu’ (214 Episodes). He also wrote a Drama story for ‘Jaahanara' in 2018, streamed on Colors Bangla. His contributions to the literary world have earned him numerous accolades and a dedicated fan base.
