Kausani Ghosh, born on February 18, is an Indian playback singer and live performer. She has over 25 years of experience in Indian Contemporary music, with being trained by Pandit Mohanlal Mishra & Smt. Sangeeta Bannerjee in Benaras & Lucknow Gharana in Hindustani Classical Music. She has made a stage presence in many cultural shows both in India and abroad.

She gained recognition and popularity from the show Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2010. She won Award for her album in 2003. She was also the winner of Star of Kolkata from Taaza TV. Her playback singing ranges from Item Number for the Bengali feature film Jhoomura to 2 solo albums from Prime Music & Raga Music and Romantic Duet Number for the Bengali feature film Kintu Jodi Tobe.

The title song for Zee Bangla's Rashi serial, Star Jalsa Choker Tara Tui title song (female version), and 4 group albums with Rupankar, Lopamudra, JoJo, Indrani & Raghav are some other worth mentioning projects of hers in her playback singing career. Kausani Ghosh also known as Megha is an extremely talented playback singer and actor working predominantly in the Bengali film industry. She was born on February 18 in Kolkata. She is trained in Hindustani Classical Music by Pandit Mohanlal Mishra and Smt.Sangeeta Bannerjee in Banaras and Lucknow Gharana. For her education, she went to Calcutta University.

Kausani is a professional singer who has a lot of working experience. Because of her angelic voice, she has worked as a singer with several Television channel companies like Dhoom Music, Tara Muzik, Zee Bangla, DD Bangla, Ruposhi Bangla, News 18 Bangla, Akash Aath, Etv Bangla, and many more. She was also the winner of Star of Kolkata at Taaza Tv Channel as well as won the Manabendra Award for playback. Apart from this, she is an assistant professor at Sister Nivedita University and a music teacher at Kausani Ghosh Music Academy.
