The film depicts the struggles and helplessness of a young man entrapped in the world of begging, with a message in the memory of gone steel actor Tapas Pal. Aside from the film Beg for Life, Sneha Biswas also featured in the Cholai dark comedy released in 2016, inspired by the Sangrampur methanol poisoning incident in 2011.
