Shilton Paul is a professional footballer from India. He was born on June 10, 1988, in Maslandapur, West Bengal, India. Shilton plays as a goalkeeper for the I-League club team Churchill Brothers. He pursued his graduation from the Tata Football Academy. He played his first match in an Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup encounter. He got the responsibility of leading the team by becoming the captain of Mohun Bagan in 2014. Under his captaincy, the team won in the 2014-15 I-League campaign.
He represented India at various national and international events like the 22nd Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy (JRD) Tata Cup at Jamshedpur in 2003; the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Youth Championship (U-16) in Japan in 2004; the 10th South Asian Games at Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2006; and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Youth Championship at Kolkata in 2006. His achievements include the I-League Best Goalkeeper Award in 2018, the Mohun Bagan Player of the Year Award in 2018, the Sports Journalist Best Player Award in 2018 and the Times Sports Man of the Year Award in 2019.
