Dipangshu Acharya

Dipangshu Acharya is an actor, seasoned stand-up comedian, and award-winning lyricist born in Kolkata. He started his career in comedy with Mirakkel, a humorous television show on Zee Bangla, and it continued with a guest spot on Enjoy Guru Story Soon >> Read More... on Star Jalsha, two of Bengal's top comedic programs. With over 500 corporate and live performances under his belt, his half-hour special is currently streaming on Hoichoi and is "viral" among Bengali youth. He has written a number of humorous sketches and skits for several highly regarded Bengali television series. He has bagged awards in three television comedy competitions, for Mirakkel 3, Enjoy Guru, and I Laugh U, respectively.

He is a renowned screenwriter and the lyricist of several Bengali chart-toppers. His lyrics have earned hearts and accolades across Bengal with songs like "Bondhura Elo Melo" (Challenge) and "Kicchu Chai ni Ami" (Shahjahan Regency), among others. He received the WBFJA Award for Best Lyricist of 2019 in 2020.
